Alan and Brittany’s Springdale wedding on July 12th at Fairlane Station was so incredible! Let me just say first that this has to be one of our most favorite weddings EVER. Rarely do you see two people so in love. The worst thing and the best thing happened on this wedding day and we will NEVER forget it!
So, you know how people say “that went off without a hitch” or “…if that is the worst thing that happens all day…”. Well, you guys. The worst thing happened. The morning of the wedding, Alva and I head over to Luxe Beuty Salon in Fayetteville for the girls to get all pretty before we head over to Fairlane for the first look. While Brittny was getting her hair done, Alan calls saying he has been stung by waspS. I know what you’re thinking, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal. Well it was. After a visit to the ER, Alan was told he was stung 21 times by all of those wasps. Luckily, we were able to shift the timeline around as the “stinging” happened earlier in the day. After a steroid shot, some Benadryl and a few drinks – Alan was good to go ya’ll! (We just don’t even want to think about what his face would have looked like without all this!)
One of our most favorite moments of the wedding, at the first look, was when Alan gave Brittny another (that’s right, ANOTHER) engagement ring exactly like the one she had lost only weeks before. It was a surprise to everyone and I’m pretty sure I was tearing up behind the camera. So, so sweet!
Then the best thing happened. These two, despite all the mishaps of the day, said their vows and promised their lives to each other. Oh, and the details. We can’t forget those! From the honey “Meant to BEE” favors (ironic eh?), sweet pink roses and pops of green leafs throughout the venue, it was all so dreamy. Really it was.
So, there you have it. From the worst, to the best. We loved capturing Brittny and Alan’s love story. Check out some of our favorite images from the day and feel free to leave the couple a sweet comment! XOXOCeremony: Fairlane Station
